Citygate

Citygate is a new landmark in Gothenburg, and with its 36 floors and 144 meters, the building is the tallest office tower in the Nordic region. In tall buildings, it is especially important to ensure that the protection in the event of a potential fire and evacuation functions as intended. Therefore, it was natural to choose Stålprofil’s system SP 79000, to meet the classifications EI60 combined with S200, and our elements are installed on each floor and in the stairwell.

To achieve maximum economic lifespan, stainless steel profiles in acid-resistant quality with a brushed matte finish were chosen.

Citygate is certified according to the international WELL standard, which explores how design and construction can be optimized to promote human health and well-being. Other important factors that WELL considers include sound, air, and thermal comfort, light, comfort, movement, nutrition, community, mind, and water. Everything is measured and carefully controlled, and for a building to be certified, it must meet high standards.
